What do I need to do to start my child in therapy?

To evaluate or treat a child, JJB will need a referral and treatment prescription from your child’s PCP before we can start the process. Full details regarding this process can be found in the “Getting Started” information tab. 

Where will my child be seen?

JJB therapists can see your child at one of our outpatient clinics or at your child’s daytime location. Following the evaluation, your therapist will discuss these options with you and tailor them to best suit your child’s needs.

How do I pay for services?

JJB accepts Medicaid, Tefra, and most Private Insurances. We also offer private pay options. If your private insurance does not cover the cost of therapy, you will be billed the remaining amount. My child has been assigned to a PASSE. Can I be seen by JJB?

Yes! JJB is in network with all 3 PASSE groups. (ATC, Summit Community Care, Empower).

My child does not have insurance and I cannot afford to pay out of pocket. What are my options?

First Connections and Crowley’s Ridge Co-Op both offer funding options to parents who fall in this category. JJB is a provider for both of these agencies. You can call and ask if your child is a candidate for these programs.

Does JJB offer clinical internships for therapy students?

Yes! JJB loves hosting students for their clinical rotation. If you are interested, please speak to your clinical coordinator to contact us.
